Hello everyone, my name is Chris, I am the Founder and Editor-in-Chief here at Streamer News. I wanted to thank everyone for the support over the past year. It has been a great experience and learning process for myself and the team throughout the past few months.
When I first started the website, I wasn’t sure what the reaction was going to be. My main goal was to create a website archiving all the amazing things that happen across the Twitch Community. That way 3-4 years down the line we can look back and see who was doing what, and which community members built a path for future broadcasters to come. Even though the lives of streamers are by very nature public, we have set forth our policy to try and give as much privacy as possible and stick to publicly acknowledged facts as the type of content we promote.
In the past few months we have expanded our team so we can cover a wider ranger of Twitch Broadcasters. The Twitch Community is filled with so many talented and entertaining individuals, over time we will expand and cover as many broadcaster as we can. Along with adding new team members, we also will launch our Discord Channel. A place where community members can come discuss content, give us feedback, and most importantly just have a conversation with like-minded individuals. Throughout 2016 we will release new features for the website, once they become available we will let you know. We will continue our monthly interviews with community members along with the usual content we cover.
