Android users, starting today you can receive live alerts for any Twitch broadcasters you follow. If you have the Android app already, make sure you enable notifications. If you are a new user and using the Twitch app for the first time you do not need to do anything the notifications will automatically be on.
If you enable the notifications and do not like them, you can change it back by tapping the options cog in the video player. See the visual below:
Along with the push notifications they’ve also made a few more improvements that can be seen bulleted below.
- If you have a tablet, you can chat in landscape mode.
- The search bar is now visible across devices of all size.
