Twitch announced that they are a gold-level sponsor for the Grace Hopper Celebration. The Grace Hopper Celebration is a series of conferences that promote diversity and the advancement of women’s role in technology.

“Twitch has also provided scholarships to two students majoring in Computer Science to attend the conference — Lee Ames from New Hampshire Technical Institute and Lorraine Yerger from the University of Central Florida. Both recipients were selected from a pool of thousands of applicants by Anita Borg Institute, organizer of GHC 2016.”
The event will be held October 19-21 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX. If you can’t catch the keynotes in person, the GHC will be streaming Wednesday and Friday’s keynotes on Livestream.
