Twitch Introduces Multi-Community Streaming

Communities, a feature that allows streamers to categorize their streams, has received an update which allows users to stream to up to three Communities at once.

Launched in February of this year, Communities was Twitch’s latest development on the front after removing the Creative hashtag system to help broadcasters connect to their most relevant audiences, and helps viewers to discover content that fits their interests easier and faster than ever.

Prior to the update, streamers could only select one Community to broadcast to, such as VarietyStreaming or CompetitiveOW. Now, users can select up to three Communities to stream to at once, allowing broadcasters to better reach their targeted audience and for viewers to more easily find exactly the kind of content they’re looking for.

To stream to up to three Communities, select them from your dashboard alongside other broadcast settings:
