Twitch Charity Stream Team Gamers4Change Kick Off 168 Hour Livestream for St. Jude PLAY LIVE

Ended soon

Gamers4Change is a group of likeminded streamers who strive to use video games to evoke and inspire positive change all over the world. Founded in 2015 by Twitch streamer Tactical Pinup, the group’s primary goals are to make a positive impact in the gaming industry, dispel some of the negative stigma surrounding the gaming community, and to inspire gamers to think outside of themselves and make the world a better place.

In their first year, Gamers4Change was able to inspire individuals to raise over $50,000 for charity, offering support to organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Extra-Life with the Children’s Miracle Network, GameChanger Charity, and many more.

Gamers4Change will be participating in this year’s St. Jude’s PLAY LIVE event, with all proceeds going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. For #StJudePLAYLIVE, team captains Tactical Pinup and Bacon Donut have been working in tandem to compile an astounding group of streamers both large and small, to empower the team to change lives, and to provide them with the resources to succeed in their task.

In total the team has a huge reach of over 700,000 followers, and is confident they will be able to offer nonstop, high energy content throughout the fundraising event that will inspire their combined communities to meet or exceed their $50,000 goal. The charity campaign will be running from April 29th all the way to May 31st, with a special 168-hour livestream marathon hosted from May 9-May 16. As of May 7th, 2016 (only a little over a week into the campaign) Gamers4Change has already raised $15,746 USD, over 30% of their total goal!
