Twitch continues to improve the tools available to their broadcasters and today they added a new chat feature – emote only mode. This mode makes it so that the chat can only communicate through emotes. This new feature is good to avoid spoilers by Twitch chat, but at the same time can clutter chat if it is not moderated properly.
The commands are /emotesonly to turn it on and /emotesonlyoff to turn it off.
