Last week you were able to view and co-stream the RNC on Twitch. Like last week, you can tune into the DNC broadcast at Twitch.tv/DNC2016.
The RNC broadcast had more than 1,140,00 viewers with a peak concurrent viewership of close to 30,000 viewers.
Unlike any other platform, Twitch is enabling the DNC broadcast to be co-streamed.
This means other Twitch users can stream the event in real time while offering their own commentary on top of it while interacting with their own communities for more intimate discussions.
In addition, viewers of the main DNC channel will see that there is an option to join an alternate live stream called DNCDiscussion that is geared toward longer discussions in chat with rules in place to help facilitate this social dynamic.
