Twitch Announces its Biggest PAX East 2016 Presence to Date

Today Twitch announced its biggest convention broadcast show floor plans for PAX East 2016! The brand’s stage show will return focusing on the best games and personalities from the convention, while the booth (#9044) will feature game stations, broadcaster meet and greets, and swag gathering opportunities.

Twitch is also introducing a new broadcaster Partner Lounge powered by Corsair featuring H1Z1: King of the Kill and the return of the H1Z1 Road To TwitchCon program.

As the official broadcasting partner of PAX East, the event’s best content will once again be available for centralized viewing on the official PAX Portal. This spans presentations from the Main Theatre, Albatross Theatre, and Dragonfly Theatre, which includes the Twitch Town Hall. Viewers will also find daily content from the Twitch stage where Twitch’s Jon Carnage, Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham, and Anna Prosser Robinson will be joined by popular broadcasting personalities Jayson “ManvsGame” Love, Paola “PancakePow” Alejandra, and Joseph “Swiftor” Alminawi, as they host segments with publishers, developers, and content creators. Other stage events accessible via the PAX Portal include an indie game showcase, Partner spotlights, and the search for the next PJSaltan!

Complementing the stage show are a number of community-driven activities at the Twitch booth:

  • Vainglory Mobile Game Zone

Super Evil Megacorp’s Vainglory, the MOBA built for mobile, will be featured at the booth. The first 50 people to play each day receive a Twitch pastaThat pin. Top broadcasters will be streaming Vainglory live Friday and Saturday from 5:00pm – 6:00pm EDT. Collegiate Star League will host the CSL Vainglory Invitational on Sunday from 2:00pm-6:00pm EDT.

  • Broadcaster Zone, partnered with Lenovo

Tune in to see groups of popular Twitch broadcasters streaming live daily from 12:00pm-6:00pm EDT on Dark Rift’s new tower defense game. Also, join djWHEAT Saturday 12:30pm-1:00pm EDT on Twitch as he hosts a special competition between Funhaus and Achievement Hunter.

  • Partner Meet & Greet Zone, powered by Old Spice

Partnered broadcasters will gather here to network with fans and sign their Kappa Cards! Old Spice will have samples for attendees from the new Hardest Working Collection, available at the booth. The full guest schedule can be found at the Twitch front desk.

  • Official Twitch Pin Program

Twitch is continuing its Official Twitch Pin Program with several ways to obtain the pastaThat pin, the newest addition to the Series Two collection. Be one of the first 50 people in line to play Vainglory at the Twitch booth, be one of the first 500 in line for the Twitch Town Hall panel, be the one of the first 75 people to play at the H1Z1 Gaming Area (booth #10045), or follow Twitch on Twitter to find out at 2:00pm EDT each day which Twitch staff member is roaming the show floor with a bag of pins to give away.

  • H1Z1: King of the Kill Partner Lounge, powered by Corsair (Booth #10045)

Twitch and Daybreak Games have teamed up to kick off the H1Z1 Road to TwitchCon as Daybreak gets ready to bring the popular H1Z1 Invitational to TwitchCon 2016. Daybreak will stream H1Z1: King of the Kill from the booth all weekend long, so stop by or tune in to Twitch to watch some of your favorite broadcasters fight to be the last man standing. All fans who wish to play H1Z1: King of the Kill should make sure to arrive early as the first 75 people in line each day at the H1Z1 Gaming Arena will receive a Twitch pin!
