All across Twitch streamers ask their viewers to participate in quick polls to determine certain outcomes within a stream. Twitch subreddit user, jjcantillon, created an easy to use polling website that has Twitch chat integration as well as the ability to overlay the results through OBS/Xsplit. “If you want to allow people to vote without logging in to Covote turn on anonymous voting. Twitch chat users will always be allowed to vote.”
“Turn on twitch voting and the Covote bot will join your channel. Users in chat can vote by typing the exact option name or !vote with the option number. Share the link on your stream if you want other viewers to vote.”
“Put the overlay in to your favorite streaming software like OBS or Xsplit and it will always show the question that you have twitch voting turned on. If you turn off all of your twitch questions the overlay won’t display anything so you can leave it enabled in OBS.”
