Brian McNulty Created a Twitch Moderator Slack Team

Ended soon

Today, Brian McNulty, better known as Izl, started a Slack group chat for the purpose of establishing  “a space where new moderators can seek advice and have access to education and training on moderation best practices, effective bot usage, and many other topics”

Already it’s collected a group of 147 and growing from many different backgrounds such as event moderation, community moderation, community managers from game companies, creative mods, and more.

If you are a dedicated mod who has something to offer or the capacity to learn from seasoned mods, please consider applying to join.

There are future plans, as well. Already there is a website planned as a central resource for moderators, with guides on bots, resources, and best practices as submitted by the community. Additionally, a show with live training has been proposed.

It’s an idea that’s been overdue and we look forward to seeing great things out of this moderator community in the future!
